McDonalds

Over the last decade, Mcdonalds has succeeded in making itself the number one fast food restaurant around the globe, the main reason contributing to that success is no other than standardization strategy. standardization refers to adjusting a certain product to a certain society and or environment. fi we were to talk about a religiously diverse country like India, where meat is considered sacred, if mcdonalds was to offer their normal menu with all the meat, their indian customers might get offended. what mcdonalds did was ; they created a veggie burger on the menu ,exposing their menu to a larger pool of customers . not only India, what about the vegetarians around the world? , Mcdonalds wanted all types of customers to relate to them and so modified their products accordingly and hence the success.

The only suggestion that I have for McDonald's is train all of your employees on how to ring up a promo coupon order. I have actually had to cancel orders due to lack of knowledge even though these promo codes are on every single McDonald's receipt yet when I go to redeem them so many of the McDonald's stores don't even know how to do it so why put it on every receipt if the employees aren't going to be trained on how to ring them up?
