Everything in the world has both side
advantages and disadvantages and the use of information system also like that. After
researching we noticed that all McDonald’s restaurants are based on this system
and we think that this is something wrong. Let us suppose that there is
something wrong in the system or power outage has occurred what will
happen? The orders will be delay or
cancel. This is the point that we didn't like in using of information system,
because it has become more complicated and perhaps in the future will rely on
the system largely and all of these systems will cause problems, so in our
opinion McDonald's should be minimize its relied on those systems to avoid any
future problems.The most use of information system in
McDonald's that we like is the POS, because as we know there are many people
like McDonalds also it is international restaurant so it needs a system that
can reduce the time for preparing orders, cooks and reduce the errors that
happen by the humans, so POS will help to achieve all of these points. In
addition it helps limiting the use of the paperwork that maybe makes some
problems, because POS include automated reports, like the payroll and other
tools for marketing and accounting. this was an overview that lead us to choose
this system because it makes the transaction easier and give the customer what
they want faster.
We will enhance the IS by improve the POS
system ,we will invent a machine that will take the order for the person who have
only one order so he will not wait for a long time with people who have many
order. Also, this machine will be connected with the main system and the
customer can pay by it so, we will reduce the crowds by this machine.
The other one is a system that help people
to order online and in the same time there is a screen in the McDonalds
restaurant that show the place where the person order from it which will help
them to reduce time by knowing people places and to deliver it from the nearest
branch of McDonalds to the person house.

they should try to make more things that will attract the customer to choose Mcdonalds by using more advanced of IS
I agree that McDonald's should not totally rely on their information system or technology because it may have some errors which will lead to delay and loss of customers , McDonald should always have plan B, they should have some waitress as well , plus i think they should always try to invent and figure ways to attract their customers so they will be satisfied and by this they can guarantee customer retention !
